Introduced last year the BKLRBN has already proved to be a huge success. The lightweight frame and high performance directly led to a world cup win in some of the most hardcore conditions possible in Fiji with Baptiste Cloarac. Now in its 2nd generation we have been able to refine the design further. A modified luff curve has softened the feel, aligning it in feel with the Vogue HD. Furthermore small modifications to the outline helped to maintain tension in the perimeter of the sail, meaning reduced unnecessary reinforcement and further weight savings.
We continue with our BLKRBN Technora film. A super light weight scrim using Technora yarns to create an incredibly strong and stretch resistant structure, which is then held together by an ultra thin film. The big advantage this technology has over standard membrane technology, is that it is produced as a roll in an extremely controlled process with very high tolerance to delamination, creating a long lasting and durable sail.
The outcome is an incredible light, long lasting and high performing sail to push your level higher.
